Bonnie M. Curtis, age 78, of Annandale died suddenly Sunday, October 14, 2007.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale. Rev. D.J. Lura will officiate and burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery in Annandale. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Bonnie Mae Curtis was born June 10, 1929 in South Dakota to William and Clara (Wenzel) Schmitz. She graduated from Annandale High School, Class of 1947. Bonnie married Charles Curtis on July 2, 1955 in Mason City, IA. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and watching sports. Bonnie loved to spend time with her children, grand children and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Chuck II (Mari) of Annandale, Rhonda of Chaska and Mark (Lisa) of Hopkins; son-in-law, Kent Andrews of Annandale; brother, Daniel (Shirley) Schmitz of Annandale; grandchildren, Christopher, Erik, Sonja, Mikel, Kenyan and Logan; great grandchildren, Haley, Tyler and Dylen. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Andrews; and brothers, Jesse and Howard Schmitz.
Pallbearers will be Christopher and Erik Walberg, Mikel and Kent Andrews, Sonja and Erik Hettinga. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenyan and Logan Curtis. Erik Hettinga and Orma Lou Jacobsma will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
