Beverly Ann Lund, age 71, of Annandale died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Phillip Geoffrion officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church and also after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Beverly Ann Lund was born August 6, 1937 at Annandale to Alfred and Helen (Grovender) Rathje. She was a 1955 graduate of Annandale High School and was employed by Annandale State Bank for 50 years retiring as vice president in 2005. She married Clifford J. Lund on June 8, 1957 at her parent's farm near Annandale. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2008. Beverly was a member of Albion Evangelical Free Church where she was the organist and served in various church positions. She enjoyed music, flower gardening, home decorating and attending high school athletic events.
She is survived by her children Rosalie (Wally) Gloege of Annandale, Bev (Mike) Erickson of Maple Lake, Curtis Lund of South Haven, Daniel (Marlys) Lund of Moorhead, sister Beryl (Gary) Geisinger of Annandale, brother David (Peggy) Rathje of Annandale, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter in law Sandy Lund and brother Douglas Rathje.
The pallbearers will be Curtis Lund, Daniel Lund, Denise Ferrell, Julie Ellis, Melissa Steward, Alicia Mitchell, Tammy Wikan, Heidi Sistad and Kristen Lund. The honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey & Nathan Gloege, Mitchell Erickson, Shane Lund and Peter Erickson. The music for the service will be provided by Kirsten Lund, Heidi Sistad, Larry & Nancy Wasmund, Norma Geoffrion and Linda Gross. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
