Obituary
Bette M. Schacht, age 64, of Annandale died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Fairview University Hospital, Minneapolis.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Dennis L. Johnson and Rev. Art Stenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Church in Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday.
Bette Marie Schacht was born June 23, 1940 in Grafton, ND to Ernest and Stella (Stokke) Snabb. She was a 1958 graduate of Annandale High School. Bette married James W. Loesch September 6, 1958 and he preceded her in death March 12, 1988. She married Waldo C. Schacht June 4, 1994. Bette lived in the Annandale area most of her life where she was a homemaker and member of Annandale Evangelical Free Church. Bette loved her family, was a strong advocate for children with special needs, enjoyed volunteering at the Annandale Care Center, needlework, flowers, socializing, singing, music, and Bible study.
Bette is survived by her husband, Waldo of Annandale; father and mother, Ernest & Stella Snabb of Annandale; children, Wendy (Randy) Voss of New Hope, Kim (Rick) Morrow of Hutchinson, Robin (Mike) Latour of Sparta, WI, Jamie Loesch of Buffalo, Charles (Arleen) Schacht of Annandale, Kristin (Loren) Vetsch of Browerville, Aaron (Lynn) Schacht of Monticello, Stephanie (Jeff) Kraus of Ohio, Bethany (Mark) Boyat of Maple Grove, Melanie Schacht of Andover, Mary Schacht of Andover, Angela (Jeff) Bergstrom of Maple Lake, and Colleen (Dustin) Adams of Andover; and 20 grandchildren. Bette was preceded in death by a brother, Donald; and infant sister.
Pallbearers will be Roger Fobbe, Russ Eigen, Kirby Klingelhofer, Dave Hanson, David Johnson, and Lowell Larson. Music for the funeral provided by Rev. Gary Partridge, Beth Roelofs, and Amanda and Alvina Johnson.
Memorials are preferred to the Annandale Evangelical Free Church Youth Group.
