Obituary
Bernice M. Marks, age 88 of St. Cloud died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at St. Benedict's Senior Community.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. Pastor Luke C. Nelson will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, South St. Paul. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bernice Martha Marks was born June 23, 1921 in Chicago, IL to John and Anna (Antoski) Jaskolka. As a child, she moved to Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis South High School. Bernice married Archie R. Marks on December 22, 1944 in Minneapolis and he later preceded her in death on July 15, 1979. Together, they raised 8 children. In 1976 they moved to Annandale and in 1993, Bernice moved to St. Cloud. Bernice was a former member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in South St. Paul and she enjoyed to fish and read.
She is survived by nine children, Michael of Buffalo, Michele (James) Reynolds of Wadesville, IN, John (Darlene) of Wisconsin, Richard (Coleen) of South St. Paul, Thomas (Esther) of Sartell, Raymond (Deb) of Lakeville, Cheryl of Buffalo, Julie of Waconia and Shirley of Buffalo; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant brother; and brother, Norbert Jaskolka.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
