Beatrice M. Bruns, age 84, of Maple Lake died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish Prayers will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
Beatrice Marie Bruns was born July 26, 1928 in Maple Lake to Martin and Isabelle (Reznicek) Paumen. She attended Annandale High School and graduated with the class of 1946. On April 26, 1949, Beatrice was united in marriage to James Herbert Bruns at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. She enjoyed their annual trips to Branson, playing cards, dancing, socializing and having a good meal at Country Buffet.
With a smile and sense of humor, Beatrice fought a courageous battle with Parkinson's for the past twelve years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; was an everlasting friend to many; and will be deeply missed by all. The family would like to thank the staff at the Annandale Care Center for their loving care and concern.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James; children Carl of Albertville, Jerry (Charolyt) of Annandale, Bob (Lori) of Maple Lake and Rose Mary (Kirt) Hinz of Annandale; grandchildren Vicki (Chris) Rasset, Jodi (Peter) Norgren, Joe (Terra) Bruns, Kristi (fiancé Chris Thomas) and Ashley Bruns, Luke (Alexa) Hinz, Heather Hinz (fiancé Brady Karau), Crystal-jo and Shannon Bruns; great grandchildren Hunter, Ryan, Emily, McKenzie, Nathan and Sydney.
Pallbearers for the service will be Joe Bruns, Luke Hinz, Ryan Rasset, Hunter Norgren, Nathan Rasset, Chris Rasset and Peter Norgren. The Resurrection Chior will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
