Beatrice A. 'Bea' Jude, age 86, of Maple Lake died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2006 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Farther Mark Huberty and Father Mark Juettner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.

Beatrice Ann 'Bea' Jude was born September 24, 1919 in St. Michael to Nicholas and Mathilda (Otten) Eull. She married Clarence J. Jude on September 3, 1940 in Monticello and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2005. Bea was a bartender in the Buffalo and Maple Lake area for 40 years. She lived in Maple Lake most of her life where she was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women, National Catholic Society of Foresters, and the Maple Lake VFW Auxiliary Post #7664. Bea loved her family, church, was known for having a green thumb, and was proud of her many years as chairwoman of the VFW Poppy program.

Bea is survived by her sons, David (Suzann) Jude of Brighton, MI, and Patrick Jude of Napa, CA; daughters, Jane (Mike) Decker of Waverly, and Bonnie Jude of Brooklyn Center; sisters, Dorothy Schillewaert of Monticello, and Clara Robeck of Buffalo; brother, Jerry Eull of Big Lake; and grandsons, Jason Jude, Jacob and Nicholas Decker. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harold and Benno.

Pallbearers will be Dan Albrecht, Bob Potter, Milt Zoupas, Del Haag, Merlin Boberg and Dave Linn. Music for the funeral provided by Sarah Goelz and Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox.

Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
