Barbara L. Huckenpoehler, age 77, of Kimball, died Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Hilltop Care Center in Watkins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. James Statz as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church on Monday. Barbara Lucylle Huckenpoehler was born at home on March 17, 1942 to Henry and Victoria (Dimler) Ziehl. On June 9, 1964, Barb was united in marriage to Earl Huckenpoehler at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She enjoyed sewing and reading religious books. She was a member of St. Anne's Prayer Group for many years as well as Mary's Cenacle at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Watkins. Barb especially loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Barb is survived by her husband of 55 years, Earl, of Kimball; sons, Michael (Marilyn A.) of Georgetown, CA, and Eugene (Donna) of Avon; daughter, Marilyn B. of LaCrosse, WI; grandchildren, Kyndall, Michelle, Matthew, Timothy, and Andrew; great-grandsons, Damon, Haedon, and Tucker; sister, Gwen Ziehl of St. Paul; brother, Clifford Ziehl of Sioux Falls, SD; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Victoria Ziehl; stillborn son, Keith; and siblings, Art Ziehl and Elinor Forner.
