Obituary
Audrey `Dolly` R. Wood, age 69, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at her South Haven residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, MN with Pastor Tony Jasper officiating. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Gathering of friends and family will be one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Audrey was born February 6, 1934 to Ralph and Frances (Sobczak) Bowman in Minneapolis, MN. She married Sidney W. Wood, Sr. June 18, 1955 in Iowa; they have lived the last 33 years at South Haven, MN. She was employed at Palm Industries, Litchfield from 1978 - 1991 and Miller Manufacturing, Dassel from 1991 - 1994. She was a former member of Oliver Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. Audrey enjoyed bowling, making crafts, hunting, fishing and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Wood, Sr. of South Haven; daughter, Kathy Olson and her fiancAC., Mike Donabauer of Kimball; 3 step-sons, Sidney Wood, Jr. and his wife, Gerilyn of Galesburg, IL, Thomas Wood and his wife, Janet of St. Cloud, Phillip Wood and his wife, Debbie of Annandale; brothers, Eugene Bowman of Brooklyn Center, Kenneth and his special friend, Cybil of Knoxville, TN, Marlene Kerkow and her husband, Rodney of Bloomington; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Brother, Buster Bowman and sister-in-law, Cecelia Bowman preceded her in death.
Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale, Minnesota.
