Arlene P. Rozenberg, age 89, of Annandale died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the Annandale Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Silver Creek Community Church, Silver Creek with Rev. Timothy Overweg officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday. Memorials are preferred to the Annandale School Scholarship Fund.

Arlene Pearl Rozenberg was born June 23, 1917 at Radcliffe, IA to Jacob and Louella (Eden) Heng. She was widowed from her first husband Carl Christensen in 1960, then married Rick Rozenberg on March 10, 1961 and he preceded her in death in 1973. She was a homemaker and a secretary for Wright-Hennepin Electric for 8 years and then for Bendix Elementary School for 16 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of Silver Creek Community Church and enjoyed many things, especially visiting with family & friends.

She is survived by her children & spouses, Carlene & Dale Kirkpatrick of Kimball, Mahlon `Chris` & Jodi Christensen of Shoreview; brother, Richard Heng of Terre Haute, IN; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Green, Tom (Shelly) Jarl, Melanie (Darrin) Erickson, Jenni Christensen; 5 great grandchildren, Melissa, Dustin, Jonathon, Emily, Grace; and 1 great great granddaughter, Madisyn. She was preceded in death by her two husbands; grandsons, Douglas & Daniel Christensen; sister, Oral Tucci; and brothers, Robert & Marion Heng.

The pallbearers will be Melvin Rozenberg, Royce Mueller, Tom Jarl, Jonathon Green, Dustin & Darrin Erickson. Don DeBoer, organist and Linda Veches, soloist, will provide the music for the service. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
