Arlene worked as a LPN at Mount Sinai, Fairview and Buffalo hospitals until 1990. On November 16, 1957 she was united in marriage to Harlan "Mike" Meyer. They lived in Minneapolis and Bloomington before moving to Cedar Lake near Maple Lake. Arlene enjoyed sports, baking, old time music, dancing, gardening, snowmobiling and fishing. She also enjoyed the many trips she and Mike made to Las Vegas in the 1980s and 1990s. Above all, Arlene treasured the time she was able to spend with her family and her beloved grandchildren.
