Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Kuechle, age 80, of Kimball, died Friday, October 28, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. James Statz as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 on Wednesday at the church. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website. Memorials are preferred to St. Anne Catholic Church.

Anthony Phillip Kuechle was born January 27, 1942, in Watkins, Minnesota to John and Bernice (Zahler) Kuechle. Tony grew up in Kimball, graduating from high school in 1960. Following his graduation, Tony served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. On November 4, 1967, Tony was united in marriage to Beverley Rossman at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Watkins. Tony spent his career in the telecommunications industry, working for various companies across the world, and was known as the "telephone man". Tony and Bev lived in Young America, Minnesota and New Hampton, Iowa, prior to moving to Richmond in 1994, and eventually returning to Kimball in 2004, when Tony retired. He was a former member of the VFW and the volunteer fire department in Young America, as well as the Kimball Legion. Tony was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the Kimball community. He enjoyed fishing and working in his shop. Tony was a prolific chair maker.

Tony is survived by his sons, Randy (Maria) of Grand Rapids, Kurt (Mary) of Superior, WI, Tony (Kathryn) of Plymouth, and Adam of Chippewa Falls, WI; 12 grandchildren, Rebecca, Amanda, Corrina, Brad, Louie, Ellen, Charlie, Theodore, Anthony "Gus", Sophia, Emelia, and Nora; 3 great-grandchildren, Estelle, Adelaide, and Calvin; siblings, Luverne (Joan) of Forest City, Kenny (Ginny) of St. Cloud, Ron (Barbara) of Watkins, Mary (Mick) Fischer of Kimball; significant other, Mary Lawler of Watkins; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Jerome.

Tony's sons will serve as casket bearers. Julene Faber-Andruseck will provide music for the service. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Kimball.
