Obituary
Anne E. Paumen, age 79 of Maple Lake died Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish prayers will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Anne E. Paumen was born August 15, 1928 in Maple Lake to Mark and Katherine (Bruns) McAlpine. She graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1946. Anne married Jerome Paumen on November 26, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1999. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, where she was active in the CCW, Catholic Foresters, SAM Quilters and sang in the Resurrection Choir.
She is survived by her children, Patrick (Sandy) of Baxter, Daniel (Bonnie) of Maple Lake, Stephen (Sharon) of Maple Lake, Celia (John) Knoll of Lester Prairie, Elizabeth Johnson of Lake Elmo, Ruth (Timothy) Borell of Maple Lake, Paul (Toni) of Maple Lake, Margaret (John) Nemec of Elk River and Catherine (John) Engbloom of Buffalo; daughter-in-law, Lanette (James) Dammann of Plato; 34 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Martin; and grandsons, Shawn and Joshua Paumen.
Pallbearers will be Keith Nemec, Todd, Eric, Scott, Kurt and Joseph Paumen. Honorary pallbearers will be Julie Peterson, Kimberly Johnson, Tara Borell and Noah Engbloom. Marge Pavlik, Organist and the Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
