Anna R. Wurm, age 89, of Maple Lake died Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Cokato Manor Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Anna Rose Wurm was born July 19, 1918 at Maple Lake to William Pribyl Sr. and Mary (Piram) Pribyl. She married Earl J. Wurm October 2, 1940 in Maple Lake and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1985. She was a homemaker and for many years was a doll maker for Carlson Dolls, Maple Lake. Anna was a member of St. Timothy's Church, Council of Catholic Women, and Royal Neighbors of America. She enjoyed dancing, entertaining, and time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Eichten of Maple Lake; 4 grandchildren, Steve (Jen) Eichten of Mounds View, Theresa (Bob) Allen of Chaska, Melissa (Matt) Zarns of Maple Grove, Michael (Harper) Eichten of Pequot Lakes; 10 great grandchildren, Carly, Andrew, Alex, Brady, Melanie, Colton, Acacia, Kiah, Kristen, & Kyle. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Delores, son in law, Dennis Eichten, brothers, William Jr. & Tom, and sisters, Albie Kaz, Adelaide Flynn, Bess Kaz, & Stella Pribyl.
The pallbearers will be Steve & Michael Eichten, Matt Zarns, Bob Allen, Kenny & Earl Pribyl. Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox and Sarah Goeltz will provide the music for the service. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
