Obituary

Anna M. Fashant, age 96, of Goldendale Homes, Annandale died Monday, March 10, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey B. Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church. There will be a prayer service 6 p.m. Thursday.

Anna Mae Fashant was born May 1, 1911 at Annandale to Henry and Anna (Ramm) Rathje. She married Clarence Fashant on April 19, 1939 in Buffalo and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1963. She was a homemaker and did other house cleaning. She was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ.

She is survived by son, Robert Fashant & his wife Helen of Buffalo; brother, Herbert Rathje & his wife, Margaret of Annandale; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Lyle, infant daughter Shirley Ann, brother Alfred Rathje, and two sisters Bertha Powers & Frieda Smith.

The pallbearers will be James Kreitlow, Ronald Haekenkamp, Gerald Ramthun, Marvin Smith, Wayne Rathje, and Gordon Powers. The music for the service will be provided by Myrna Jude, organist and David Schmidt, soloist. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care.
