Mrs. Anna F. Carlson, age 96, of Maple Lake died Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at the Ebenezer Covenant Home, Buffalo.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2002 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial followed in the parish cemetery
Anna Francis Carlson was born May 13, 1906 in Minneapolis to Blaize and Anna (Franzen) Ruffenach. She married Raymond H. Carlson July 30, 1934 in Minneapolis; he preceded her in death January 3, 1977. Anna along with her husband owned and operated Carlson Doll Company, Maple Lake from 1945 until her retirement in 1994. She lived in Maple Lake most of her life where she was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church and Royal Neighbors of America. Anna loved her church, designing dolls, and playing the piano. She is survived by three sons, David of Kailua-Kona, HI, Lowell of Buffalo, Robert and wife, Helena of Pipestone; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandson. Her son, Jerome and eight brothers preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Mark and David Schumacher, David and Daniel Carlson, Scott and Rick Christian. Music for the funeral provided by Sarah Goelz.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake, Minnesota.
