Mrs. Amy V. Pancake, age 88, of 36642 CSAH 2, Watkins died October 20, 2002 in Rice as a result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2002 at Ostmark Lutheran Church, 32721 680th Ave., Watkins with Rev. Marion Rova officiating. Burial followed in Ostmark Lutheran Cemetery.
Amy V. Pancake was born April 13, 1914 at Kimball to Carl and Ida (Johnson) Meline. She lived her lifetime in the Kimball and Watkins area and was a lifetime member of Ostmark Lutheran Church where she was baptized on July 19, 1914 and confirmed on September 8, 1929. She married George G. Pancake March 31, 1934 in Litchfield and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, George of Watkins; daughter, Marilyn Rosenow and her husband, Kenneth of Watkins; grandson, Chad Rosenow of Savage; sisters, Edith Dahlgren of Litchfield, Gladys Munson and her husband, Earl of Watkins. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Baker, Myrtle Rathmanner, and Violet Dye, and brothers, Elmer, Archie, Rudolph, and Clarence Meline.
The pallbearers were Ron & Wally Strand, Edward, Ronald, & George Meline, and Doug Kersten. Music was provided by Vicky Toutges, organist and Debbie Holtz, soloist.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball, Minnesota.
