Alice Iona Laney, age 95, of Annandale died Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Annandale Care Center.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Memorial Services held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Marilee Benson officiating. Interment will be in Silent Vale Cemetery, Ottertail County.
Alice Iona Laney was born October 14, 1912 in Maine Township, Ottertail County to William and Iona (Jenne) Nelson. She married Lawrence Laney on April 12, 1932 in Sisseton, SD and he preceded her in death on August 10, 1990. Alice was a homemaker and a member of the Annandale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed picnicking, camping, and time spent with her family.
She is survived by children & their spouses, Lyndon & LouAnn of Annandale, Ronny & Terry of Parkers Prairie, Richard & Ardell of Cosmos, Stephen & Rosalyn (Joyce) of South Haven, Douglas of Bertrum, Gayle & Odus Schrier of Dover, TN, Jon & Gloria of Kingston; daughter in law, Gail Laney of Audubon; sister, Jennie Dahl of Underwood; 28 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, sons Ormand & Raymond, and great grandson Ryan.
