Agnes J. Dahlin, age 93, of Annandale died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. David Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Annandale. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Agnes Johanna Dahlin was born October 17, 1920 in Sebeka to William & Sophie (Tuopla) Lee. She lived in Minneapolis, prior to being united in marriage to Edmund Dahlin in Annandale. For 29 years, Agnes worked for Honeywell in manufacturing. Agnes was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale and volunteered for the Annandale Food Shelf for 22 years.
Agnes is survived by nieces Diane Campbell and Mary Holliday, both of Minneapolis; great nieces Heidi Eskeli and Miaja Cassidy; and great nephews Charles Campbell, William Harrison and Nicholas Harrison. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Sophie Lee; husband Edmund Dahlin; brothers Edward, Arnold and Albin; sisters Ileen, Bernice and Elma; and nephew William Gunewitz.
Pallbearers will be Ed Skomoroh, Vern Anderson, Rick Kanniainen, Tom Cherry, Ben Bergquist and Fred Gunderson. Honorary bearers will be Don Casseday and Willard Leinonen. Orma Lou Jacobsma will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
