Mrs. Agnes K. Hinz, age 91, Kimball died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball with Father Mark Willenbring officiating. Burial will follow in Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Agnes Katherine Hinz was born August 18, 1912 in Morrill to John and Mary (Ritzko) Florek. She married George Edwin Hinz April 30, 1942 in St. Cloud and he preceded her in death November 18, 1961 at the age of 55. Together they farmed in Maine Prairie Township until 1946 when they purchased a farm in the city limits of Kimball. She remained on the farm until moving in with her daughter in 2001. She had been a resident of the Hilltop Care Center, Watkins for 3 weeks. She was a homemaker and farm hand to her husband and later her son. She took pride and pleasure in helping with the dairy cows, calves, tending to the steers that she always referred to as her `boys`, and her many barn cats. Agnes was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother receiving enjoyment and taking pride in all their accomplishments. She was a long time member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball.
Agnes is survived by a daughter and son, Janet (Jerry) Robinson and Harvey (Mary) both of Kimball; grandchildren, Tracy (Pat) Frank of Wells, Travis (Robin) Robinson of St. Michael, Tania Robinson and fiancAC., Chadd Novak of River Falls, WI, Amy (Ryan) Olson of St. Cloud, Emily (Jim) Colberg of Annandale; great grandchildren, Jordyn & James Colberg of Annandale; sisters-in-law, Abbie Holladay of Sauk Rapids, Lilly Wittenberg of Annandale, Agnes Nessa of Chanhassen, Ada Quist of Minneapolis, and Ida Hinz of Milltown, WI; many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepfather, Martin Dehler, Sr.; grandson, Keith Robinson; sister, Frances Chmielewski; brothers, Henry and Edward; stepsisters, Alvina Lachinski, Marie DeMars, and Ida Dehler; stepbrothers, Raymond & Martin Dehler.
Pallbearers will be Pat Frank, Chadd Novak, Ryan Olson, Jim Colberg, Raymond Dehler, Jr., and Kevin Florek. Music for the funeral provided by St. Anne`s Choir and Mary Streit, organist.
