Obituary


Adeline H. Latour, age 82, of Annandale died Monday, February 28, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2005 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in St. Timothy`s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Adeline Helen Latour was born September 18, 1922 in Annandale to Arthur J. and Elizabeth A. (Kalway) Purcell. She married Francis H. Latour in November of 1943 and the couple later divorced. She lived all her life in Corinna Township, Wright County, and worked for Wright-Hennepin Electric Cooperative in Maple Lake for 40 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake and a life member of the Maple Lake VFW Auxiliary Post #7664. Adeline enjoyed gardening, yard work, cards, cribbage and dice.

Adeline is survived by daughters, Gen Latour Huss of Ramsey, NJ, and Adele Leary and husband, Bob Ahonen of Maple Lake; brother, Earl (Helen) Purcell of Annandale; twin sister, Angeline (Harry) Westman of Fridley; grandchildren, Victoria Huss, Rose LeDuc, Andy, Pat, and Tim Leary, Tara Lasley, Shannon Leary, Cory and Cami Ahonen; and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Genevieve.

Pallbearers will be Ed LeDuc, Andrew Leary, John Waldrop, Larry Purcell, Jim Munstenteiger, Music for the funeral provided by St. Timothy`s Resurrection Choir.

Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
