Adam D. Hansen, age 31, of Rochester and formerly of Maple Lake, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at his home after a battle with brain cancer.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Church of Christ in Kimball with Pastor Jerry Albert officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the V.A. Medical Center, Prosthetic Dept., 1 Veteran's Drive, Minneapolis 55417.
Adam D. Hansen was born July 17, 1974 in Portsmouth, VA. He served his country in the Army and National Guard. Adam worked at Midwest Wireless and Barnes and Noble in Rochester. He was a member of Church of Christ, Kimball.
He is survived by his mother, Elaine Anderson of Albertville; step father, Richard Fobbe of Maple Lake; grandparents, Paul and Ruby Anderson of Kimball and Ralph and Dorothy Fobbe of Maple Lake; sisters, Michelle Hansen and significant other, Santi Phetchantho of Plymouth, Tara Buermann & husband Robert of Kimball and Carin Johnson of St. Michael; nieces, Katlyn and Erin.
The pallbearers will be Vaughn Hanson, Erik Solheid, Shawn & Shannon Krohn, Tyson Stanley, and Jason Anderson. The music for the service will be provided by Lori Miller, organist and Joyce Albert, soloist. The arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
