Wayne Jay Mohlin, age 68, of South Haven, died suddenly Thursday, October 31, 2019 at home.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, with Deacon Ron Freeman as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Maple Lake. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Wayne Jay Mohlin was born October 12, 1951 to Rudolph W. and Beatrice (Maylone) Mohlin Sr. in St. Louis Park, MN. On May 24, 1980 he was united in marriage to Elaine M. Busta in Annandale, MN. Wayne lived in the Minneapolis area for many years before moving to Lake Sylvia, South Haven, MN in 1980. He truly enjoyed living out in the country along the lake. He worked 20 plus years as an Arcade Technician, repairing and refurbishing pinball machines, retiring in 2014. Wayne loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, boating, bird watching and gardening. He especially enjoyed gaming and pinball machines. Wayne will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will forever be in our hearts.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Elaine of South Haven; daughter, Tanya (Joe) Betonti of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Brooke, Morgan, Austin and Brandon; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Beatrice, daughter, Toni, sister, Myra Crane, his brother, Bill and his beloved dog, Chani.
