Timothy Jon Fasching

Timothy J. Fasching, age 51, of Dassel, died Saturday, September 14, 2019 at his home.

Memorial Services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with visitation from 4-7 p.m. Committal Services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20 at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, Little Falls. A reception will follow the committal service on Friday at the Pine Grove Park Shelter in Little Falls.

Timothy Jon Fasching was born October 3, 1967 in Winsted to Harold and Doris (Smith) Fasching. He grew up in Winsted, graduating with the Class of 1986 from Holy Trinity Catholic School. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1990. On April 21, 2001 he was married to Patricia Schroeder in Winsted. They raised their family and continued to live in Dassel. Tim worked in the warehouse of American Spirit Mailing in Howard Lake for the past 29 years.

Tim was a member of the Dassel American Legion. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, watching sports, canning salsa, spending time with family, weekend getaways with his wife, Patty, selling produce at farmers markets, and checking out local meat markets and butcher shops. Tim was an animal lover, especially for his dogs and cats. He was a man that liked to drive around with nowhere to go and nothing to do; just in it for the drive. His unique sense of humor always seemed to be coming out of left field and will be a trait that will be remembered and deeply missed. Above all, Tim was a loving husband and father.

Tim is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Joshua Fasching (Ruth Hendrickson) of St. Cloud and William (Katherine) Fasching of Ft. Irwin, CA; step-grandchildren, Charles and Thomas; parents, Harold and Doris Fasching of Hutchinson; brother and sister, Thomas Fasching of Andover and Sandra Fiecke-Stifter of Winsted. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Bernice Smith and Albert and Celestine Fasching; and brother-in-law, Larry Stifter.

The urn bearers will be Matt and Blake Hahn. Pastor Peter Pruce will officiate at the memorial service and Chaplain Gregg Valentine will officate the committal service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
