Susan Bernice (Meyer) Mueller

Susan B. Mueller, age 73 of Silver Creek, formerly of Perryville, MO, died on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her home surrounded by the love and care of her family and hospice.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek with Rev. Ken Tatkenhorst officiating. Burial will follow at Corinna Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the church. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Susan Bernice (Meyer) Mueller was born September 15, 1945 in Cape Giradeau, Missouri to Elmer and Bernice (Lohmann) Meyer. She grew up in Friedenberg, MO and graduated from Perryville High School with the Class of 1963. On September 30, 1967, she was united in marriage to Donald Mueller at Peace Lutheran Church in Friedenberg, Missouri. Sue worked at various banks for 25 years, retiring in 2010 as a supervisor at Security State Bank in Maple Lake. She enjoyed gardening and cross stitch. She cherished the time she spent with family and friends, especially with her grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her husband, Don of Silver Creek; children, Sandra Jean of South Haven, Deborah (Paul) Szyperski of East Bethel, and Craig (Chealsie) Mueller of Buffalo; six grandchildren Donald "DJ", Jacob and Alexander Szyperski, Maxwell and Nolan Mueller, and Elijah Dorse; two great grandchildren Delilah and Mavrik Szyperski; brother, Charles (Jill) Meyer of St. Louis, MO; sister, Carol (Charles) Barber of Hoover, AL; and sister-in-law, Donna Meyer of Perryville, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Bernice Meyer; brother Richard Meyer; brother-in-law, Erlis Ruehling; and sister-in-law, Carole Ruehling.

Sue's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Dan Oie will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
