Message from Shirley Ziegelmann

Rick,You were my joy. Its hard to say Good-
Bye after a life-time. As I watched the
video I wished we could be young. But I
know you were placed here on earth for a
reason, almost dying at a young age. I
truly believe you came back as an angel -
ours. Now as you grew tired and your angel
wings became tattered, I realize I can no
longer keep you in this place. We love and
cherished our life with you. Love Shirley
and kids.
Message from Barb Gerold

I remember some great times spent with both
of you in our younger days. I remember
Rich's sense of humor was never lacking.
Shirley I share my deepest sympathy with
you and your family. Your friend from the
past.
Message from Mark Bost

I'm so sorry to hear about Richard. I
worked next to Ziggy for about 2 years. He
told me so many stories. His stories would
range from his family to things going on in
the world. I know that he loved you so much
because of all the stories that he would
tell me. He had a new story everyday.

Take care,
Mark Bost
Message from Carol Adams

Shirley and family and Sherri and family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. It
seems like just yesterday that I looked
forward to our family vacations to
Minnesota (in the 50/60's) because I knew I
would get to see my cousin, Rick. Even
back then I remember his humor which is why
I was so taken with him.
With Sympathy,
Joe and Carol (Bigley) Adams
Message from Robin Nelson

Shirley and family--
I am so sorry to hear about Rick's passing--
I still can't believe it. I will always
remember how he used to go all out for
Halloween; our boys loved going over to
your house. He had many talents, and one of
them was how he made people laugh. I'm
sorry I couldn't be with you during this
time (I am currently working in Georgia),
but know that my thoughts and prayers are
with you and the kids.
Message from Tami Carlson

My deepest sympathy to you Shirley and
children. Rick was such a caring, funny, and
talented man. I worked with Rick for many
years at BAE and I miss the stories he used
to tell. May your memories of him help you
through this tough time. My prayers are with
you.
Message from Sue & Tom Townsend

This is all so sad, but the memories of
Ziggy, working at FMC, the fun times &
parties will live on forever. He was a great
guy, a talented artist, a long-winded story-
teller & a good friend to all! ~Thanks for
the memories. The service was very touching
& the stories people told were so very nice
& made us laugh, & cry some more! Our hearts
are with all of you: Shirley, Nick, Nate &
Noelle; Sherry & family; & best friend Don.
Message from Dan Hinrichs

I recognized the name in the local paper and
never knew that we lived so close as adults.
Richard and I grew up in Renville, MN where
we attended the Methodist Church. I remember
many times as a kid sitting together in
through a church service. Richard was a
friend until we moved from Renville and I
lost contact. Through all these years I
still remembered his friendship and sense of
humor. Those who knew Richard were blessed. Dan
Message from Mark Berthiaume

I like to send my sincere sympathy to
Rick's family. I was in his Solidworks
class at Anoka Techincal College, and only
knew him for a short time, but what a
friendly person he was and sad to hear of
his passing.
Message from Arlene Googins/Erickson

Remembering good times we had when we lived
in Brooklyn Park. Working with Rick for so
many years was priceless. He was such a great
friend. Have wonderful memories--Halloween
decor, 'the pond', parties, immaculate work.
I still have the portrait he did of Kim. He
was an outstanding artist, and am sure many
of us still have drawings he did. Sorry we
lost touch. He'll truly be missed. My deepest
sympathies and hugs to Shirley and kids.
