Patricia Marie (Dearing) Nothnagel

Patricia M. Nothnagel, age 87, of Buffalo, formerly of Maple Lake, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Park View Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Patricia Marie Nothnagel was born December 8, 1930 in rural Annandale to Anthony and Agnes (Ducart) Dearing. She was raised, grew up and graduated from high school in Annandale. On May 1, 1951, Pat was united in marriage to George Nothnagel at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale. They were blessed with 65 years of marriage, 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Pat and George made Crosby their home for 10 years, prior to moving to Maple Lake in 1961 and Buffalo in 2013. Patricia enjoyed bingo, cards, cribbage, casino trips and baking. She loved her beautiful family and had great pride in them.

Pat is survived by her children Dennis Nothnagel of Coon Rapids, Patricia (Dale) Nygaard of Howard Lake and Tim (Marilee) Nothnagel of Owatonna; daughter-in-law Susan Nothnagel of Buffalo; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Arlene Tormonen of Crystal, Virginia Marohn of Annandale and Jean (Jack) Hutchinson of Buffalo; and brother-in-law Clifford Paumen of Maple Lake. She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Agnes Dearing; husband George; son Jeffrey; and sisters Phyllis Trewick, Shirley McAlpine and Beverly Paumen.

The urn bearers will be Kelsey Schoen, Kara Becker, Courtney Nothnagel, Stacy Nygaard, April Nygaard, Jeremy Nothnagel, Jenny Carlson, Sara Stemper and Tyler Nothnagel. Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox and Shannon Paumen will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
