Michael Jon Huro was born June 30, 1965 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Gerald and Darlene (Benson) Huro. Mike grew up in Annandale where he attended school, graduating with the Class of 1983. On June 30, 1989, Mike was united in marriage to Carla R. Piram. Mike worked at Bernatello’s where he drove truck for them for 20+ years. Mike was a member of the Maple Lake Legion Riders, where he was currently serving as Vice President and had previously served as President. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, as well as the founder of Team Huro “No One Fights Alone”. In his spare time, Mike could be found riding his Harley, pontooning on Sugar Lake, taking the occasional trip to the casino, and traveling with family and friends. In his younger years when his health allowed, Mike enjoyed running. He found great joy in being outside, whether it be camping, sitting by a campfire, mowing lawn, playing bean bags, or just sitting outside. Above all, Mike cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends, especially with his 3 grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carla of Maple Lake; children, Meagan (Marty) Juhl of Monticello, Garrett Stumpf of Belle Plaine, and Casey (Leon Kachinske) Huro of Coon Rapids; 3 grandchildren, Michael and Andrew Boe, and Mason Stumpf; siblings, Debbie (Mark) Peterson of Cokato, and Mark (Sue) Huro of South Haven; brother-in-law, Bill (Cindy) Piram of Annandale; sister-in-law, Pam Stuhr of Maple Lake; and nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Darlene Huro, brother-in-law, Curt Stuhr, and parents-in-law, John & Marge Piram.

Taylor Limbeck, Greg Triplett, Greg Broker, Curt Stuhr, Chetta Smith-Stuhr, and Angela Smith-Stuhr will serve as pallbearers. Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox and Sarah Goelz will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
