On September 7, 1957 she was united in marriage to Charles P. Alberg at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. They made Annandale their home, where they raised their three children. In addition to providing a loving home for her family, Marilyn also worked as an aid for the Annandale Schools and served as the sexton for Woodlawn Cemetery. Marilyn also volunteered her time and talents to her church and community organizations. Since 1976, she and Chuck, along with their family and friends enjoyed their time at their cabins near Outing. She liked being outdoors and the various lake recreation activities. She looked forward to coffee with the ladies and tending to her gardens.
