Lucille A. Hansen, age 77, of Fairhaven Township, died Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Sherburne County as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Her sons, Jeffrey and Jason, also died in the crash.
Memorial Services for Lucille, Jeffrey and Jason Hansen will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow at Corinna Cemetery near Annandale. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the church.
Lucille Ann Hansen was born October 19, 1942 in St. Cloud to Arthur and Laura (Lazer) Bremer. She grew up in Fairhaven Township and graduated from Kimball High School with the Class of 1960. On June 21, 1969, she was united in marriage to Odd Gunnar Hansen at Zion United Methodist Church in South Haven. They owned and operated Scandia Upholstery; Lucy loved her work and bringing new life to old items. Lucy also worked as custodian at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale, where she was a member and sang in the choir. Lucy enjoyed sewing, working at the upholstery shop, taking trips to the casino, and spending time with relatives and friend.
She is survived by her sisters and brother, Marilyn (Quentin) Janisch of South Haven, Karen (William) Marschel of Garrison and Jerry (Shari) Bremer of Minnetonka; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucy was preceded in death be her parents; husband; and step grandson, Kenneth.
The urn bearers will be Keith, Mike and Curt Janisch, Chris Marschel and Kim Haley. Rev. Ken Tatkenhorst will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
