On May 2, 1987 she was united in marriage to Clair Nelson at the Maple Lake Baptist Church. They made their home on the northwest shores of French Lake. LuAnn provided childcare in her home for many area children over the years. Her love, care, and guidance had a large impact on all the kids she welcomed into her home.
