Lila Mary Gipp

Lila M. Gipp, age 81, of Hopkins died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday May 3, 2019 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Lila Mary Gipp was born April 1, 1938 in New London, WI to Clement and Alvina (Christiansen) Roberts. On September 27, 1958, Lila was united in marriage to Donald Rueben Gipp in Milwaukee, WI. She worked at Musicland in St. Louis Park for 15 years as an accounting clerk.

Lila, Don, and the three boys lived in Somerville, NJ and Minnetonka, MN for 20 years. Lila and Don moved to Lake John in Annandale and lived there for 20 years before moving to Hopkins in 2018.

Lila is survived by her husband Donald of Hopkins sons, Gregory Gipp (Kathleen Shannon) of Hopkins, Ronald Gipp of Eden Prairie and Michael Gipp of New Hope; grandchildren, Chase Storjohan, Haley Ousky and Luci Gipp; and brother-in-law, Reginald Smythe of Hudson, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Merlin Roberts; and sister, Betty Smythe.
