Larry Jay Wadman

Larry Wadman, age 72, of Annandale died suddenly on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the service, Friday, at the church.

Larry Jay Wadman was born January 17, 1947 in Annandale to Ray and Esther (Ruud) Wadman. He graduated from Annandale High School with the Class of 1965. Larry worked as a mechanic on small engines his whole life and most recently at J&J Marine in Annandale until 2006. On May 5, 1979, he was united in marriage to Christine Dockstader on Clearwater Lake near Annandale. Larry was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. He enjoyed tinkering on small engines, fishing, The Big Bang Theory, spending time with his siblings, three children and his pets, his "other children". Larry was a fan of the Gophers, Twins and Vikings despite being disappointed often. He faced adversity with a smile on his face and was always laughing with a twinkle in his eye. He found a friend in everyone he talked with.

Larry is survived by his children Caroline (boyfriend, Karl Sabrowsky) of Little Falls, Kelsie (boyfriend Rob Mills) of Annandale and Tyler (fiance, Skyler Bonn) of Groton, SD; brothers and sisters Marilyn (Clyde) Keeley of Williams, OR, Gene (Eleanor) of Maple Lake, Mary (Ronald) Meyer of Maple Plain, Carol (Robert) Muller of Annandale, and Patricia (Jerome) Hoikka of Hutchinson; sisters-in-law Janith of Cloquet and Joyce of Annandale. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Esther; wife, Christine; brothers, Donald, Dennis, and Lanny; sister Marlys; brothers-in-law Charles Zelenak and Cal Lundquist; and sister-in-law Sharon Wadman.

The casket bearers will be Peter and Steve Wadman, Kevin DeVore, Mark and Mitchell Wadman, Brad Hoikka and John Dockstader. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
