Dear Family,

Ken and Sadie were friends and supported me while on Campus Crusade for Christ. They came to our wedding on his 60th Birthday in Phx. Ken was a friend of my Dad's in HS. Len Bullock. They played in the band together and when we became friends my Dad spoke so highly of him from their years in Annandale.
I want to thank GOD for Ken's life. He was a strong Christian and lived out his faith. His kind heart and generous ways were evidence of his love for Christ. I know he would not want people to marvel at his strength of character or to speak eloquently about his gifts but just know he was a gift to many! His care for his Dad (I first met him in HS when he was working on a home in Maple Lake) and he brought his Dad with him on the job. So kind. His love for Sadie to the end was evident to all. His music brought joy to many and his work in and around the community was a true blessing. The last time we saw him he was working in his shop at the farm and he was showing my husband some new exotic wood he found. My husband builds cedar strip canoes and kayaks, so Ken was genuinely interested in his work also. He was always learning. How we loved him. We thank God for using him through the decades of his life and now we rejoice with the promise of eternal life. He is rejoicing with Christ, knowing his job here on earth is finished. Thank you dear Rudolph family for sharing him with us!

We were sorry to hear your father had passed. We got to visit with him last May when the group we are in played and sang at the home in Annandale. I have so many menories of your family, growing up just about a mile away. Every summer Kenneth would pick me up so I could go with to play in the Annandale summer band. That was so much fun. I have the beautiful carving he made for my parents, he was so talented. I wish we could have been with you and want you to know our sympathy and prayers are with all of you. He was so proud of each of you. God bless and give you His peace.

To the Rudolph Family,
Your dad always had a smile along with a gentle soul. I loved our visits when he would come to (Lakedale Telephone) to pay his bill. Always asking who things were in Maple Lake and how my parents were doing. HIs devotion of family, community and faith far exceed anyone I know. I thought of him often when I left working at (Lakedale) and always said a silent prayer for him. I am sure you all miss him, but what wonderful memories you all have that will carry you on until you meet again. Christine Mavencamp Dombrovski

Shirley, Diane, and Keith and families,
I was so sorry to hear of Cousin Kenny's passing. I was able to visit with him 2 weeks ago when I was up visiting my mom. He came tooling over on his new scooter. We had a good visit. He was so good to Mom - visiting her every day. I can just imagine him up in heaven with my dad, Uncle Chuck and Uncle Jack - singing and playing away, and causing just a bit of mischief. I loved to visit him on the farm and in his workshop. It was always such a pleasure to go up to his concerts in St. Cloud and then in Annandale. He and Daddy were so proud of the band shell! I will miss him greatly. My prayers are with you all. May God be with you and give you strength in this time of loss. Peggy and family.

We did not know Ken well, but it was clear what a gift he was to his family, friends, and community. We met him at a graduation party and he immediately sat down and talked to our three kids. He offered, and later made, benches for each of them with their full names as pieces in the top that came out like a puzzle. It's our understanding that there are many kids out there that have these special gifts from a man they were lucky enough to meet one day. He obviously had such an impact on so many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My deepest sympathy with love on the passing of your wonderful dad, grandpa, & friend to whomever he met. I was happy my dad, Jack Pribyl, was able to know & be his friend. He always said to me, "you married that Kronquist boy!" with a smile. We all were blessed to know him & get to share his talents, but mostly his genuine kindness.

My condolences and prayers to all the family of Mr Rudolph. I am very saddened with this news. What an extraordinary man. I knew him most of my childhood as I was a classmate of his grandson Bryan, was also a member of United Methodist Church in Annandale and Mr Rudolph was a great customer at my parents gas station in South Haven as well as a great family friend. I used to love going to his farm when I was young. He was so special. I have tears in my eyes remembering. Rest in Heaven Mr. Rudolph

Great Cousin Kenneth was a genuine and wonderful man. I enjoyed visiting with him as a young child with my parents (Jeff Thompson). I have a couple of his scrolled wood pieces that I enjoy. He will be missed. Sending my sympathy to his family and the city of Annandale for his loss.

Kenny, I've known you since I was a small child. And, all my life. You, your Dad, (who came down from upstairs) and you Wife treated me with lunch & kindness when my Dad Don was wiring for you all over te place all the time and, helping me to grow with knowledge of carpentry also. Your shop, and beautiful projects creating a better world. When I became a electrician I never will forget that I climbed you pole and straighten out the wires at -20 below with --60 below with the fierce wind! (In the latter 1970's) I put on my snowmobile suit, helmit, safety belts, thick gloves on. Then I couldn't set up the ladder against the pole because the wind kept blowing gusts over. Then you and my Dad came to my rescue to get the ladder set up for me to climb the pole. I was up the pole for 1/2 hour tightening wires. I was completely covered but a small part of my neck with freezeburn. Kenny came to my rescue with some suave on my neck. Then, lunch again with talk about the weather also with many stories about their life journeys (serious and, funny) where I Learned from my elders. Always! After my stroke, you helped me and talked with me which helped me again. I could go on how I learned much from you too, Kenny! As I reminnisance with myself with thoughts of you, I am now looking at the built in gun cabinet you made for me as a gift! Beautiful! Thank You for being my friend too,, Ken! R.I.P. 👍

Oh Kenny such a kind man. Upon my first arriving to Annandale way back in 1981 I was greeted by so many fine people in Annandale and Ken and Sadie were some of those fine people. We became friends at church. Ken had such a generous heart. And so many talents and Sadie with her love for her family and friends and love of the Lord. We were blessed to be a part of Ken and Sadie's ever growing family of friends and to be the recipients of his many gifts of love with his scrollwork and other many gifts. Our kitchen was a great example! Well our living room and bathroom too. And several dressers I found that needed your loving touch. Our boys received their softball bats and holders from you and graduation scroll work plaques and my youngest son Matt and Katie received a beautiful wedding plaque from you. All the memories we treasure of you are what we hold most dearly. Thank you for sharing with us all.

To Shirley, Diane and Keith and your families we are all so very sorry for your loss. Ken is With Our Lord now. He will truly be missed. He was loved by so many. Ken left an indelible mark on this community. I see Ken's handiwork everywhere. In the library and of course at the Annandale United Methodist Church. At The Marketplace, and at Pioneer Park, Mom's in South Haven, and in my own home. But most of all in my heart. Thank you Ken for being such a true friend. You will be missed. Go Rest High On That Mountain, Ken.. You have left us with wonderful memories and so much love.

We moved on to the farm next to Ken and Sadie in 1970 and for 32 years met the most gifted and unique man in our life time. Ken walked by faith every day of the week. His honesty and genuine care for others stood out in what he did and what he said. The Johnson family was blessed to be able to know him. May God bless his family over their loss of a such an involved man in their lives.
