Jeanette Plaggerman-Berg, age 94, of Annandale, died March 17, 2018 at the Annandale Care Center.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Church, Monticello, with Pastor Paul Nichol officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Silver Creek, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Saturday, at the church.
Jeanette was born in Silver Creek, Minnesota to Martinus and Roelofje (Kamphuis) Topfer on February 6, 1924. She grew up in Annandale and graduated from Annandale High School with the Class of 1942. She lived a short time in the Minneapolis Metro area prior to moving to the farm in Silver Creek Township. Jeanette was united in marriage to Roy Plaggerman in 1947; he died in 1982. She was married again in 1985 to Bill Berg; he died in 2016. Jeanette was a devoted mother and wife; always caring for the family. Jeanette enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, canning, crocheting and gathering with her faith community at Faith Lutheran Church.
Jeanette is survived by son Harold Plaggerman. She is preceded in death by her parents Martinus and Roelofje Topfer; husbands Roy Plaggerman and Bill Berg; and brother John Topfer.
The casket bearers will be Harlan Breeschon, Brent Jude, Tyler Jude, Alfred Shenton, Willis Plaggerman and Dale Plaggerman. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
