Helen (Humenansky) Bostrom

Helen Bostrom, age 101, of Mound died on January 26, 2018 at the Annandale Care Center.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale.

Helen was born January 22, 1917 in Minneapolis to Steven Humenansky and Mary Onderco. She was united in marriage to Dwight Bostrom on October 17, 1940 in Northwood, Iowa. They made Annandale their home from 1948 until shortly after Dwight died in 1986. Helen then made Mound her home. She enjoyed fishing on Lake Sylvia and Lake Edward, baking and cooking. Her greatest love was her family.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Holly Bostrom of Mound; grandchildren Sherree (Rodney) Kruize of Rice, Ronald (Maria "Connie") Bostrom of Annandale, Chantelle (Rob) Pendleton of Delano and Nathan (Debby) Bostrom of Lino Lakes; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Steven and Mary Humenansky; husband Dwight Bostrom; and son Ronald Bostrom.
