Delwyn Troy Colwill

Delwyn "Red" Colwill, age 59, of Fair Haven, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his home after a battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with Pastor Paul Jorgenson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday, both at the funeral chapel.

Delwyn Troy Colwill was born January 19, 1959 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Clarence and Bertha (Peterson) Colwill. Red served his country in the US Army. He owned and operated Tri County Tree Service. On March 23, 1990, Red was united in marriage to Sandra Kourtjian in Minneapolis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dogs. Family, Faith and Patriotism were the cornerstones of Red's life.

He is survived by his wife Sandy; children Jennifer (Robert) Bjorkman of Abilene, TX, Rebecca (Kenneth) Levy of Wilmington, NC, Toby Kourtjian of Annandale, Courtney Colwill of South Haven and Chelsya (Zachary) Peterson of Richfield; eight grandchildren Kaleb, Johnathon, Hannah, Ashton, Arianna, Aubrey, Abilgail and Eli; sisters Belva (Roger) Star of Rapid City, SD and Marlene (Jerry) Ross of Sioux Falls, SD; and brother Dene (Clara) Colwill of Grand Prairie, TX. Red is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Bertha Colwill; granddaughter Kaitlin Dunks; and brothers Willis, Bernie and Lyle Colwill.

The casket bearers will be Toby Kourtjian, Zack Peterson, John Staus, Dene Colwill, Daryl Colwill and Blake Colwill. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
