David Lawrence Fobbe

David L. Fobbe, age 64, of Annandale, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.

Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Annandale with Fr. John Meyer officiating.

David Lawrence Fobbe was born February 6, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Mark and Pearl (Walberg) Fobbe. He grew up in Maple Lake, where he also graduated from high school. On July 8, 1983, he was united in marriage to Dawn Elizabeth Gunderson in White Bear Lake. They were blessed with the birth of their son, Joshua. As a family, they made Monticello their home for many years. During his working career, Dave was an over the road truck driver for various companies during his working career. Following Dawn’s death in 2002, Dave and Josh continued to make Monticello their home. He recently relocated to Annandale. In his spare time, Dave enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or simply being in the presence of nature. He was always up for a game of cards and cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, especially his grandson, Kaidan.

Dave is survived by his son, Josh of St. Cloud; grandson, Kaidan Barker; father, Mark Fobbe of Maple Lake; siblings, Mark Jr. of Duluth, Julie of Maple Lake, Lois (John) Wurm of Buffalo, Ron of Annandale, and Kristina Meintsma of Clearwater; and many, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Dawn, mother Pearl, brother Daniel, and sister Michelle.
