Daniel Maurice Traeger

Daniel M. Traeger, age 35, of Buffalo, died on May 21, 2018 in Rockford Township.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake with Rev. Alex Becker officiating. Visitation will take place 3-7 p.m. Friday and 2-3 p.m. Saturday, both at the funeral chapel.

Daniel Maurice Traeger was born on the morning of August 24, 1982 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale to Daniel A. and Lori (Rassat) Traeger. He grew up in Minneapolis, was baptized at Ascension Catholic Church in Minneapolis and confirmed in his faith at St. John's Lutheran Church in Northeast Minneapolis. In the 8th grade, the family moved to Buffalo where Dano graduated from Buffalo High School with the Class of 2002. Dan worked at Auto Value in Buffalo from the age of 15 and continued until after starting his own business. He has owned and operated DLT Heating and Cooling in Buffalo since 2005. Dan enjoyed riding four wheelers, motorcycles, jet skis and snowmobiles; he loved to be on the water and in the outdoors. His favorite music could be found at a Tim McGraw concert. Dano was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his parents Dan and Lori Traeger of Buffalo, brother David A. Traeger of Buffalo; nephew David J. Traeger; grandfather John Rassat of Coon Rapids; special young ones Ellie and Addison; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his dogs Auggie and George. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Muriel Rassat, Patricia Hyde and Maurice Hyde.
