Clara F. Yanish, age 99, of Kimball died July 7, 2017 at her home near Kimball, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Donald Wagner as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service, Wednesday, at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Clara Frances Yanish was born April 18, 1918 to Steven and Frances Janochowski at their home in Clear Lake. She was the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters. She grew up and attended school in Clear Lake. On April 27, 1941, she was united in marriage to Anton Yanish at St. Henry Catholic Church in Monticello. Their union was blessed with 10 children. They owned and operated a farm just north-west of Kimball. Anton passed away in 1965. Clara was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Kimball. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and farming.

Clara is survived by her children, Sandra (Mohsen) Naderi-Nejad of Beaverton, OR, Barbara (John) Ryder of Otsego, Richard of Eden Valley, Merlin of Ingram, TX, Kenneth of Kimball, Paul (Debra) of Kimball, James of Paynesville and Sharon (Brett) Sanford of Clear Lake; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Frances Janochowski; husband, Anton Yanish; sons, Michael and Russell Yanish; 8 brothers and sisters; and daughter-in-law, Connie Yanish.

Clara’s children will serve as urn bearers. The music for the service will be provided by St. Anne Choir. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
