Colleen Marie (Schill) Schill-Fischer

Colleen "Connie" Schill-Fischer, age 62, of Fairhaven, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Dingmann Funeral Chapel in Annandale with a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m.

Colleen Marie Schill was born October 13, 1961, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Kenneth and Lennora (Maly) Schill. Better known as Connie, she grew up in St. Augusta, where she was baptized, confirmed and attended elementary school all at St. Mary Help of Christians. She attended high school at St. Cloud Tech. Connie worked many jobs over the years, but her passion was for her work as a Personal Care Assistant.

Connie had a deep love of rocks and spent countless hours hunting for the perfect agate to pick and polish. She enjoyed art and was a great painter. She found peace in nature and cherished spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchild, and nieces and nephews.

Connie was one to always speak whatever was on her mind and never left you guessing what she thought. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness and exuberant spirit. She will be deeply missed. There is comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

Connie is survived by her children, Jack Fischer of South Haven, Brianna Carlson of Kimball, and Katie (Corbin) Dillon of Minneapolis; grandchild, Cooper Dillon; siblings, Jack Schill, Kathy (Mark) Bjoralt, and Dede Schill; nieces and nephews, Chad and Courtney Wills, Zach and Andy Mackereth, Tyler and Emily Kalisch; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenny and Lenny Schill; baby daughter, Hailey; sister, Pamela Wills; and brother-in-law, Bob Wills.
