     Vioka I. Loch, age 91, of South Haven, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

     Vioka Ida Loch was born April 18, 1925 to Alois and Mary (Kalkbrenner) Bowatz in Kingston Township, Meeker County. She was raised in Kingston Township and graduated from high school in Kimball. On February 16, 1945 she was united in marriage to Waldemar “Wally’ Loch in Davenport, Iowa. During World War II, Vioka worked at an arsenal plant in Rock Island, Illinois. Vioka and Wally moved to the Minneapolis area where she continued working at an arsenal plant in New Brighton, as well as for Minnetonka Moccasin. In 1973, Vioka and Wally moved to their home in South Haven. During this time, Vioka worked for Maddens Nursing Home in South Haven in addition to St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud. At the age of 76, she retired from Fingerhut in St. Cloud after 26 years of employment. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, tending to her gardens, and sewing. Above all, Vioka cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

     Vioka is survived by her children, Dennis (Renee) Loch of South Haven and Melody (Randy Stauffer) Brower of Kimball; grandchildren, Sheila, Bill, Brady, Sara, Scott, Steve, Shelley, Leah, Brandi, Stephanie, Stacey, Adam, Troy, Aaron, Eric, and Kari; great grandchildren, Jake, Heather, Brooke, Lauren, Ali, Chelsey, Greta, Veronica, Jesse, James, Jenna, Bailey, Sheena, Brittany, Jessica, Trevor, Sierra, Billy, Emily, Charlie, Katelyn, Tyler, Aubrey, Christopher, Peter, Wendy, Henry, Lily, Carson, Chloe, Madison, Lily, and Justice; great-great grandchildren, Blake, Brody, Jesse Jr., Aubree, Liam, and Mia; sister, Josephine Bachinski; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wally, daughter Darlene Loch, grandson Dennis “Buck” Loch, daughter-in-law, Wendy Loch, brothers Marvin, Otman, Ambrose and Alois Bowatz, and sisters, Rose Logeais, Lorraine Schmidt and Violet Elliott.

     Troy, Aaron and Eric Hesse, Bill and Brady Brower, Jake Ergen, Billy Tadych, Tyler Kaskinen will serve as pallbearers. Jenna and Bailey Loch, Sheena Stuve, Brittany Frank, Jessica Gordon, Sierra Marquette, Emily Tadych, and Katelyn Kaskinen will serve as honorary pallbearers. Kathy Pauls and St. Anne’s Choir will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
