Timothy Gerard Holtz was born September 30, 1977 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Gerard and Darlene (Wollack) Holtz.  Tim grew up in Royalton and graduated from Royalton High School with the Class of 1996. On February 9, 2002, he married the love of his life, Andrea Fox, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Augusta. They lived in the Kimball area while raising their family. Tim worked for Fox Farms and Holtz Construction, and was actively involved in the Kimball Wrestling Boosters. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, playing softball, attending sporting events, watching his children’s activities, and tending to his yard and garden.

Tim touched the lives of so many.  He was an exemplary father, husband, son, brother and friend who was admired by all who were blessed to be in his life.  Nothing brought greater enjoyment to Tim than spending time with his family, especially his three children.  Tim was a kind and selfless man who always had time for others, whether it was throwing a ball, helping with projects or simply having a beer with a friend.  A man of few words, but never short of a laugh and smile.  He will be deeply missed.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Annie of South Haven; his three adoring children, Rebeckah, Zackary, and Carter all at home; parents, Gerard and Darlene of Royalton; siblings, Missy (Brent) Hentges of Cold Spring, Jennell Holtz of Royalton and Carrie (Josh) Jaenicke of Cape Coral, Florida; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Del and Paulette Fox of South Haven; brother-in-law, Ben (Ellie) Fox of South Haven; sisters-in-law, Sarah (Troy) Jurek and Jolene (Chad) Nelson both of Kimball; 16 nieces and nephews; and many other family members and numerous friends. Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Clara Holtz and Alex and Bernice Wollak.

Ben Fox, Troy Jurek, Chad Nelson, Brent Hentges and Josh Jaenicke will serve as urnbearers.  Tim’s closest and loyal friends Jacob Fischer, Karl Krippner and Paul Hanan will accompany the procession.  Ariel Laabs will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
