Terry R. Evers, age 69, of South Haven, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his home.

A Remembrance Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Burial with full military honors will be held 12:45 p.m. Monday, November 13 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Terry Raymond Evers was born to William and Wanda (Tibbetts) Evers on January 11, 1948 at The Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Terry was a mechanic and an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwa and the North American Hunting Club. Terry enjoyed racing, hunting and fishing and he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters Jan Dunfee, Kory Heller (Damon Mackendanz) of Hutchinson, and Karen Evers (Les Flanum) of South Haven; mother Wanda Evers of Ball Club; fourteen grandchildren John, Cody, Erick, Tricia, Heather, Brian, Dakota, Dallas, Madison, Austin, Emily, Cheyenne, Logan and Jordan; ten great grandchildren Tanner, Kylee, Carter, Bentley, Makenna, Ryder, Damien, Leah, Alycia and Zayden; and brother Billy (Connie) Evers of Deer River. He is preceded in death by his father William Evers; grandson Kaden Ogaard; and former wife Wanda (Wiler) Evers.

The Life Tribute Celebrant for the service will be Mary Messina. The Ft. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad will provide the military honors. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
