Myrtle F. Linn, age 86, of St. Cloud, formerly of Kimball, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held 7:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, Annandale on Friday, July 1, 2011. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service.
Myrtle Francis Linn was born June 12, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Tolliver H. and Ida G. (Jones) Huguley. She was united in marriage to Aldwin “Sonny” Linn on June 21, 1948 in River Rouge, Michigan. In 1950 they then moved to Mayer, Minnesota before they began farming near Watkins. In 1967 they moved to Royal Oak, MI. Myrtle and Aldwin, together with their family, then returned to the Kimball area, where she resided until entering Talahi Care Center in 2004.
Myrtle could often be found reading a book, or using her artistic ability to draw. She was also a history buff. Myrtle’s greatest enjoyment was the time she spent with her family.
Myrtle is survived by her children, Pam (George) Kapture of Livonia, MI, Patricia Linn Jones of St. Cloud, James (Gloria) Linn of Sauk Centre, Elizabeth (Charles Belcher) Carpenter of Almont, MI, and Cynthia Steward of Kimball; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Ann Luman of Maryland. She is preceded in death by her son, William Olgesbee, husband, Aldwin, and siblings, Bryan, Agnes, Frank and Jim.
