Mildred I. (Wolfsteller) Holm, age 95, of Annandale, died on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Annandale Care Center.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Jeff Droogsma officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Mildred Ida Holm was born January 6, 1921 in Albion Township to Emil and Anna (Engelman) Wolfsteller. She grew up on the family farm and attended high school in Annandale. In 1942, she moved to California where she worked as a welder in the shipyards during World War II. Following the war, she worked various jobs while also raising her family. She later owned and operated a motel in Monterey, California. In 1980, she returned to the Annandale area. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Holm. Mildred was a member of the Annandale Evangelical Free Church as well as the Maple Lake VFW Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, bowling, gardening, angling, snowmobiling and was an avid golfer. She was also a pilot and enjoyed flying alongside her husband and traveling the world. Her family and her faith where of the utmost importance to her.

Mildred is survived by her son, Duane Saksa of Annandale; grandchildren, Harold (Christine) Saksa of Maple Grove and Michele (Pat) Siebenaler of Bloomington; 4 great grandchildren, Evan and Emma Saksa, and Emily and Erin Siebenaler; brothers, Gilbert Wolfsteller of St. Paul, Marvin (Jean) Wolfsteller of Fridley, and Lester (Barbara) Wolfsteller of Reno, Nevada; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, LeRoy, and siblings, Ervin and Ray Wolfsteller, Evelyn Geyen, Doris Ross, Norma Thurber-Zander, and Arlene Zeidler.

Harold, Evan and Emma Saksa, Pat, Emily and Erin Siebenaler will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
