Message from Doris & John Anderson

Darlene, Just heard about John today. We
are sorry we cannot be with you at this
time of sorrow. Just want you to know that
we are thinking about you, and you will be
in our prayers. Can still remember the fun
times we had as bowling partners in Buffalo
many years ago.... Take care,

Message from Elizabeth (Sexton) Vonderharr

My deepest sympathy to you, Darlene and
family.
John and I started our working days
together at Red Owl when John learned his
skills at butchering. Although we were l6,
we still worked hard, but teased one
another A LOT! I remember John for his
magnificent talent in playing the
piano. 'Lizard' was the name John coined
for me and seeing him several years ago,
that was still my name to him. We will
miss John so very much at our upcoming 50th.
Message from Elizabeth Vonderharr

My sincere sympathy to you, Darlene and
family. John and I worked and laughed
together for 2 years at Maple Lake Red Owl.
What fun and to top it off, John started
his butchering skills. We both loved to
take the truck and deliver groceries. John
coined 'Lizard' for me and last time I saw
him, that was still my name. We will so
miss John at our 50th class reunion this
summer. John is and always will be special
to me. Always, 'Lizard'

It's the day before John's birthday and
just wanted you to know that I'm thinking
