Jeanette A. Pramann, age 82, of Fairhaven died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Garden View at Hilltop in Watkins.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Zion United Methodist Church in South Haven with Rev. Ruth Hograbe officiating. Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at Zion United Methodist Cemetery near South Haven. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. Memorials are preferred to Zion United Methodist Church of South Haven.
Jeanette Anna Pramann was born May 12, 1934 in Southside Township near Annandale to Ernest and Alice (Steenlage) Triebel. She moved to Fairhaven Township at the age of 5 and lived there for the rest of her life. She graduated from Kimball High School with the Class of 1952. After graduation, Jeanette worked in Minneapolis until marrying her high school sweetheart, Edward Pramann, on April 10, 1954 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. They purchased a farm near Edward’s parents and lived there until 1966; at which time they moved to another farm in Fairhaven. They were busy raising kids, corn and cows. Over the years they enjoyed traveling together. In 1994 Jeanette retired from farming. She was active with her church, Zion United Methodist Church, serving as Church Treasurer and as a member of the women’s group. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafting.
She is survived by her children Gary (Joyce) of South Haven, Mark (Laura) of Shoreview, Joan (Evy) Heinen of South Haven, Rudy (Jan) of Clearwater, Tom (Jeanne) of Castlewood, SD and Randy (Patty) of New Prague; 17 grandchildren Mandy, Cassy, Christopher, Brian, Tiana, Kody, Buffy, Jacquelyn, Nick, Josh, Lindsey, Zak, Amelia, Carrie, Joe, Leah and Sarah; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Arlene (Ted) Schauer of Yuma, AZ and Shirley (Dale) Fischer of Clearwater; and brothers LeRoy (Pat) Triebel of Tucson, AZ and Dave (Nancy) Triebel of Medina. She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Alice Triebel; husband Edward on October 4, 2012; and great grandson Deegan Johnson-Pramann.
The casket bearers will be Christopher, Josh, Nick, Zak and Joe Pramann and Kody Schmidt. Jamie Miller will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
