James Daniel Loch, age 39, of Kimball, died July 19, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Kimball Church of Christ with Pastor Kevin White officiating. Burial will follow at Maine Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2016 and one hour prior to the service on Monday, both at the church. A Prayer Service and Time of Sharing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
James Daniel Loch was born September 19, 1976 in Litchfield, Minnesota. As an infant, James was adopted by his parents, Michael and Sherry (Combs) Loch. James grew up in Kimball where he graduated with the Class of 1995. On May 23, 1998 James was united in marriage to Kimberly Zirbes at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. James worked for Creative Curb in Watkins, Ryan Contracting of Shakopee, Ron Kassa Construction of Elko, and most recently JP Builders of Foley and the Kimball American Legion. James was a member of the Kimball Sports Boosters and Sons of the American Legion. He also volunteered his time as a Girl Scout leader and coaching his kids’ basketball and softball teams. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, taking vacations, and helping out with the Kimball Sports Boosters. Above all, he cherished the time and moments he was able to spend with his family, especially his five children.
James is survived by his wife, Kim of Kimball; 5 children, Krista, Matthew, Maleah, Joshua, and Carly all at home; mother, Sherry of Kimball; parents-in-law, Cliff and Donna Zirbes; siblings-in-law, Michelle (Jay) Lloyd, Nicole (Nick) Schendel, Amber (Jay) Pundsack, and Emily Rademacher; many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his father, Michael; grandparents, Marie & Dan Loch, James & Irene Combs, and mother-in-law, Mary Zirbes.
Gary Petty, Nic Loch, Cody Rife, Jay Pundsack, Glenn Schindele, and Roger Utecht will serve as pallbearers. Kyle Loch, Chad Loch, Dan Loch, and Jay Hilley will serve as honorary pallbearers. Anthony DeCamillis will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
