Mary, so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. As I was reading the obituary in the Annandale Advocate I noticed that your mother's maiden name was Monty. Frances' grandmother, Emma Joubert Monty was a sister to my great grandmother, Josephine Joubert Matteson. It's hard to believe that you taught my children, Nathaniel and Rebecca in high school and that we are cousins.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mary, you and I have been out of touch for way too many years, but I have thought of you and your family a lot. Your mom always was smiling and never had a harsh word. Your mom will truly be missed.

I am so sadden to hear of the passing of Aunt Frances. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
I will not be able to attend the funeral as my husband will be in the hospital for knee surgery. Please know that I will be there in spirit. I loved hearing Frances tell stories of her teaching days.
She will be missed.
