My sincere condolences to the Matthees family. May the God of all comfort give you the comfort you need to endure this very difficult time and the days ahead (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

Our hearts go out to all of the family of Edna. She and Ray were very important people as we began our life in Stearns County. We will always remember the friendship and interest that they offered us while we lived in the area. Edna was always busy making something with her hands and was full of fun and laughter. A very generous and giving lady. She will be missed by all that have known her.

I only met Aunt Edna twice in the 80s, but she was very sweet. Thanks for writing her Obit. I didn't know much about her, but anyone who can survive the Great Depression and rebuild after being wiped out by a tornado has my respect. I'm very glad to hear that she became a Christian after high school. She is definitely in a better place with Jesus. My mother (her sister, Lorraine) accepted Jesus as her Savior at age 91 (in January 2016). They are now both in heaven with Jesus. I'm glad that I have relatives in heaven when it's my turn to join them in Jesus' kingdom.

My heart felt sorrow in my Aunt Edna's passing. May she meet up with my mom in heaven and watch over our families. Really wish I got to know my aunt and her family. Rest in peace Aunt Edna.
